Finally riding a big boys bike
make / manufacturer: Schwinn model name / number: B6 Autocycle size / dimensions: 26"
I've owned this rare Schwinn for about 2 years. It's a 1952 B-6 Autocycle Deluxe sold thru B.F. Goodrich. The collector I purchased it from said it was hand pinstriped and painted in 1962 in the red, white and blue. It has an original speedometer which works, as well as a Bendix 2 speed gear shifter, both highly desirable after market additions. The paint and chrome are in great shape - with a few small paint chips here and there. It also had the red tires and the B.F. Goodrich Back fender flag. Horn and light both need work but its just a soddering problem and repair is way past my skill set.
Pretty incredible bicycle and a great display item or even a rider. For Schwinn lovers this is a real gem. I'm open to offers and have never listed for sale before. It's a bit dusty currently and has been garaged since I've owned it. This is my first for sale on the cabe so constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
