Prewar Ranger /Schwinn

Can someone please help me out identify this bicycle? It looks like a Schwinn with a Ranger badge and Schwinn parts. Serial # E84298, just got it today

As you can see it is and also have the prewar locking springer fork ( w/ AS BOLTS)
