1975 “Lion” (Made in Japan), restored in 70’s moto style

'Lil Knee Scuffer
Found this old tricycle in the hills of Arkansas. Some internet searching and help from the CABE revealed it was probably a 1975 “Lion”, Japanese made tricycle. I’ve never seen anything like this, so I thought it was worth saving. Also, my daughter, Jessie-Lynn (header badge) needed a small tricycle to use indoor. I fabricated the fender, sissy bar pad and seat, cleared the patina on the frame and painted the rest. I hope y’all enjoy this little tricycle and maybe my research will help someone else working on one of these.

Best of all, you finished the trike project before she outgrew it! Congratulations!
Spoken like a man with experience, people can’t see how much time goes into these little relics. After getting 4 hours of sleep several nights in a row I had to continually remind myself that it was for my baby girl!
