happy Sunday y’all!!

Did well at the Flea last weekend with a nice Cragstan MIB Space pilot Flying Saucer battery op, bump and go toy, an Esso "handy oil" drip man, and a vintage B/A cloth patch now on a stone washed baseball hat I scored at Sally Anne. Attached with my favourite glue, "Goop". Also a neat little tin Sea Dart toy outbard motor was in the haul.

I bought a nice red ( I have a black one with a battery pack tether) Alps "Lincoln Futura" out of Australia from Ebay. It needed a new middle canopy bubble ( one with the car was cracked) section I ordered from Uncle Als toys. I partially solved ( took it all apart arghh!!..done toy repair/dissassemble all the tabs etc dozens of times/never pretty, only broke 1 tab on re-assemble) to find out why it wasn't driving ( broken wire/resoldered/cleaned/oiled) and lights were so/so/funky switch.

Well, the light switch works a bit better now and it goes great in reverse, forward, ah....not so good. Ha! It's mainly a display piece anyway. I sometimes regret ( especially if repair doesn't go well) taking an original toy apart, like it's been "violated", no longer a virgin, kinda like a sweet all original bicycle. The tiny metal tabs on these tin toys are good for maybe one bend ( after factory) then they break.

I added ( Ebay) to my K&O Japan vintage toy metal outboard collection with a 1959 Mercury MK78a "Drink mixer" complete with original cord, jack, and tank battery pack!! The other tank battery packs in the pictures are well done reproductions ( a fellow in Australia makes them) with original motors. This thing is SWEET and works perfect. Dig this You Tube video.

I dig blondes with curvy figures ( or brunettes, redheads.....), so these ( Ebay) GO-GO 1960's Japan drink mixers seemed to be a natural buy. One is MIB ( mint in box) the other is nice, no original box. Both work perfect. I think the pair look good, but one of my buddies has a bar item collection and he "picks" cool stuff weekly at Flea's and Sally Annes, so an eventual trade may occur. On gal has a funny shot glass ( glasses were not included) with reference to ounces. 0 oz for Rabitts, 1 oz for ladies, 2 oz for Gentlemen, 3 oz for pigs, 4 oz shot is a Jackass. The girls are anatomically correct ( under the top) so the unruly owner can have topless dancers after 4 or more shots?

Last but not least, and minty Fire Chief 1961 Plymouth tin friction Japan "Ichiko" toy car to complete the set of Police and Ambulance. Great siren sound friction and sweeping roof lights. The Ambulance has the original box. Sorry to break the rules as the cop and Ambulance are not new scores but are part of the picture.

you keep posting pictures of those little outboard motors that you find every week and it made me curious when I saw the little wires...... are they functional?
were they salesman samples?
they are pretty cool, never ever seen one outside of your posts 👌
