Columbia 5 Star Superb finally finished!!

I had purchased this bike a while back ago. When i first bought it i tore it down to clean it up cause it was dusty and dirty. But i never got a chance to ever put it back together and now i finally got to finishing it up a week ago. What was missing on the bicycle was the headlight, but i ended up some how coming across a NOS original headlight. I do have the original seat for it by the way, but i put this troxel seat on it for now. So here it is all done and it cleaned up really nice!

That is actually a Five Star Superb Super-Equipped Motorbike (Model R5)! The forebrake makes it a Super-Equipped. Good looking bike and these are great riders as well. V/r Shawn

Thanxs Shawn for that great info! I was told its a 1951 the serial number starts with ..R237930.

Thanxs Shawn for that great info! I was told its a 1951 the serial number starts with ..R237930.

1951 is correct for the serial number. They did not put the side reflectors on the luggage rack until 1953.
