What Bearings are needed ND Front Hub

I bought an NOS Axle with bearings etc off Ebay for a New Departure Hub. I bought a rechromed ND Front hub, and the bearings I got with the Axle are porous and strange so I'd like to replace them with new bearings.
The seller of the axle gave me a 2 sets of two different sizes.
The larger size is best, and it has 5 ball bearings in it, approx. 1" diameter on the exterior OD, and 7/16 ID x 1/4" h.
How is this set of bearings referred to? I don't know their "Model Name".

Is your hub shell marked "W" or "WL"?

Hi Gordon, it is marked "W".

It has been re-chromed and some of the lettering is shallow, but I see Nothing next to the W.

Here is a photo of the bearings I use in ND Model W hubs. If the ones you have don't look like these, or you are uncomfortable with the way they fit, I can send you a pair of these.

The cones are different for W and WL. Make sure the dust caps on the cones you purchased fit the hub shell.
