Prewar Schwinn Built Mead Ranger Mens Frame W/ Locking Fork, Crank/sprocket

I picked this up thinking it would be a cool klunker frame, but once I discovered it was a Mead Ranger frame I thought it should be put back to what it was. I started removing some of the green paint and found nice original brown paint. I don't have enough experience removing paint and didn't want to screw it up, so I would rather pass it along to someone else. Serial number on bottom bracket starts with an "F". Asking $300 shipped in the lower 48. PayPal only. Thanks.

If it was a Mead wouldn't it have a chrome fork?

Early bikes. 1936,37,&38,if I remember right. Mead's were usually last year's Schwinns.

The frame seems to measure in at 19.5"
