1987? Alfa Centauri

This came from a storage room in SW Florida that had not been opened for 25 years. I think it could be the only one in the U.S. I believe it was made in Austria. It has a Torpedo Dreigang rear hub. This bike is featured in the coffee table book "Cyclepedia: A Century of Iconic Bicycle Designs" and is listed on sodapic.com as one of the 40 best bikes in the world. The last one to sell came from the Embacher Collection -- Google it. All original including tires. $750.00 +shipping costs.

The ALFA-Centauri was build by Bauer & Papp GmbH, Friedberg‘ in 1982.
Exact production numbers aren't known.
