Here is a very nice New Departure hub tool.It will help you get the discs all lined up and through the hub shell.These things are a great tool to have when you are assembling your hub.They make it so easy$95 p.p.as a friend plus a few dollars for shipping

Unfortunately this tool doesn't apply to 2 speed equipped hubs.

How is this tool used?

Just assemble your discs on your axle and alighn them then thread this tool on your axle and slide it through your hub.It makes putting togeather and rear hub a piece of cake.

That isn't really the main use of this tool. That is only a secondary purpose. The main purpose is to hold all of the discs firmly in place as you slide the axle into the hub. Works great!
