Muleman121

Finally riding a big boys bike
Bought this from Caber Pedal Metal. A shout out to him! He’s easy to work with, did a great job of packing and sold at a reasonable price.
It arrived in August and I’ve been plugging away as time and health allow. Had 3 back surgeries in Nov and Dec. Getting close to finishing now. Only the seat and speedo drive are left. Here’s before and after
Picts. Before is courtesy of Pedal Metal.

Last pic is of a tank snap I made on the drill press with a file.

It looks awesome, that blue is just too cool and the tires work perfectly with it.
I just love these Colson looptails.

Thanks for the compliments. It’s been an enjoyable project. Still working on the seat (one in pic isn’t it); and need to install the Speedo drive.

Mostly yes. Also used 0000 steal wool and then fine polishing compound .

Front part of tank and headtube came back amazingly well!!! Never would have thought there would be any paint there....

The fenders... the whole bike for that matter...Wow...you did a great job!

Mine's green with cream trim...I am a little afraid that I might lose what's left of my black pins.

How much OA did you use and how long did you soak it?
Thanks.
