Nice find. Very similar to my 1953 with the exception of the headlight. Mine is a sealed beam. Also mine is black and chrome. The switches do surface occasionally, keep your eyes open.
 
Nice! 50-54, post the whole serial number if you want the exact year.

I think I'm going to fix up the ladies '53 Hawthorne I acquired and would be needing...
- turn signal switch
- bent rack braces
- correct ladies seat w/chrome protector
- correct headlight

It would be a Delta turn signal switch that mounts on the top bar above the tank.

I have a set of curved rack braces I would sell.
