Serial number help

I have a rollfast bike that i was told it looks like a 1947 but when i went to look for a serial number under the crank there was nothing. any ideas as to where i could find it?

With that chain wheel, early 50's is my guess. There should be a number under the cranks. You could try the left rear dropout but that would be late 50's and onward.

Yeah i didnt see one on the dropouts either
