She is 1954 model. I was riding the VA. Creeper trail last June and crossed over the state line to a little area called Shady Valley Tenn. A guy had it setting outside his antique shop for sale. We stoped by and after an afternoon of barganing I purchased it for $30. All it needed was a good cleaning and polish. It's all original as I purchased it. This is my first Shelby. All I know is that it has Airflo on the chain guard. Sweet ride. Thanks for the comment.
0000 steel wool and WD-40 to start with. I removed all of the old paint oxidation. Then light compound follwed up with good coat of wax. On the seat springs I used a wire brush on a drill. Chrome polish on the wheels and remaining chrome. Lots and lots of elbow grease. Check out my album of my other bikes. My Overland is all original also. Good luck on yours.
