@Dan the bike man Uhaul truck reserved. Many tie downs ready. Should be a fun day. Old cars and old bikes. Any word on when to arrive Saturday, or can we unload on Sunday morning?
I don't know what his plans are for you. For me he said I can bring my pickup and utility trailer on Sunday. He was supposed to meet me a week ago and tell me where to park but never did. I'm not good with driving with the trailer so I'm going to park where I feel I'm out of the way but close to the building and if he doesn't like it, too bad. I'm a guest with a huge undertaking setting up a display! He can deal with me or I'll leave!
I don't like the idea of being there Saturday AND Sunday. I'm going to email him my intentions of being there Sunday morning with the uhaul to unload 6 bikes by the building. If he says no, I'll still show up Sunday morning, but park in the lot and make 3 trips. And if he says no to that, I'll just show up as a spectator with no bikes. Like you, I'm not gonna take a lot of crap from this guy. If he stiffed you a week ago by not meeting with you, that speaks volumes.
Just sent this to Tom:
Hi Tom. I'd like to add a 6th bicycle to show on 6/12. 1951 Columbia Goodyear Hi-Way Patrol, see pic.
Also, doesn't look like I'll be able to drop them off on Saturday. I'd like to bring them Sunday morning at whatever time you say. I'll have a 15ft. uhaul truck. I can either drive up to the building and unload there, or park in the lot and my son and I can make 3 trips to and from the building. One of these options will have to be do-able or I won't be able to participate as an exhibitor. Please let me know your thoughts and I'll work with you to the best of my ability. Al Sabo (Romeo, MI)
