Unmolested 1949 Super Deluxe!

Got home Sunday night, and this is one that came home with me.
While these bikes can still be found, few surface in the wild in this condition! I wanted to post these "Before Cleanup" pics, just to show the condition of this bike. Someone did change out the pedals back in the day.
I wonder how hard it would be?.... for a guy to find a split crash rail like the one on your lobdell saddle. I have the saddle.

What year is yours (bike)? Some of the early models didn't come with them.
Thanks Chris,

The dark maroon Lobdell ( Bobby U. restore) seat I have won't accept a rail ( just realized) because there isn't enough bolt left. The bike is one I found in North West Ontario Canada ( across the river from International Falls, Mn.) back in the early 1980's. It was a tank/springer and non cheese grater rack model brush painted blue, year unknown. My buddy bought it from me and did the Super Deluxe resto/trim job on it and kept for 30+ years then sold it back to me last Summer ( he needed cash for a septic field..ha!). I rode it some last Summer, but it's been a basement "Queen" this Summer, as I have lots of other rides, PLUS it's a booger getting up the stairs. I just think the Lobdells look so plain without a rail on them. Currently I have what appears to be a Troxel with wear tabs and a crash rail I put on. It looks a bit "light" ( non beefy) for the bike, but maybe I'll just keep it on as the black original cover matches the bike. That's my short winded answer. The long winded one is" I'm not sure what year".
