Just got it home! My father in law bought this 1964 Impala 2dr. Hardtop new for my mother in law in 64!
Got the call today from him that he was giving it to us. Killer car, and personal family history!
My ex BIL bought a new SS 327 4 spd fact. console, later sold it then like 15 yrs ago saw it up on a rack at some garage...was the same car! he bought it back! lol.
unfortunately no
still looking for a SS convertible 409-425 4-speed, but could settle for a 409-400
Also looking for a 1961 Bubbletop with a 348-350 4 speed, that would make me happy!
IMO, 1961 Bubbletops are the sexiest car ever!
But there was 10 different 348 set-up in 1961, so I would not be picky!!!
Odd, I might be wrong, but your car has the 1964 283 "V" fender emblem, not the 327 or 409 fender emblem.
Did you find the build sheet under the seat or a picture of the VIN and cowl tag? Could be decoded.
