I can absolutely, positively assure you this is not a 1938 Rocket. Nothing like this was sold in 1938. What you have here is a 1940 Rocket, made by Monark-Silver King, Inc.
Of course, NBHAA has the original literature as well.
You play with ads!! I'll hang with the REAL deal!!! As to the statement "they didn't make/sell that bike then" that is just foolish as well!! Most of us have learned over the years that terms like "absolutely", and "positively" are often foolish words to use in this hobby! "Literature" and "Ads" from this era are often wrong, Ads often embellish in the illustrations!
