You certainly aren't wrong! thank you for the advice. Before the bike came into my hands, the past owner actually sanded down the tires to make the clearance. They're kind of square and beefier than the average tire. I have a spare set of creams in my closet but... admittedly laziness has been getting the best of me in swapping them.
