This was just posted by The Major Taylor Association on YouTube. A group of letters was discovered in storage in Worcester a couple of years ago and donated to American Antiquarian Society. Taylor writes to a friend about his early racing days. Fascinating stuff ! Check it out.

Great info Morton, thanks for posting. The only thing I would not do is use plastic shrink wrap on paper unless it's something that isn't particularly valuable. The plastic will outgas and yellow the paper over time. Archival quality plastics are best for preserving ephemera.
