Grew up on bikes. Had gt performer and dyno detour as young teen and enjoyed riding all day to fishing spots and anywhere there were jumps in Anchorage Alaska. Got into mountain biking and trail riding for a bit too but at 13 i cut my hand while skateboarding with a bottle and needef tendon repair surgery which kept me off bikes for a while. Didn't stop me from skateboarding or snowboarding though. My bmx days were over. I got dragged to the desert _ Phoenix and lived there for 11 years. Did some bike riding but got most of my exercise skating. I didn't own a car till I was 25 so I stayed in shape with bus rides and skateboards being my main transportation. Came to a crossroads. Either move to Colorado and work for good enough money at a tech company or face the Phoenix job market which sucked. So without a meth addiction or a felony i left the desert for the rocky mountain front range. After a year here without ever riding a motorcycle i went and bought one. Then i traded for a bigger one that i could get serious speeding tickets on. After getting married and having a kiddo i needed a way of the house and to get some exercise. Cars sure make you fat. Cruising on an old mountain bike i found an electra beach cruiser under a bridge and built it custom with mostly found parts. I found a persons deluxe saddle on a girl's mountain bike at goodwill for 12 dollars in December 2018. After some research I found the cabe and i got hooked on old bikes. Now I spend way too much time looking at and for old bicycles. I tend to jump from hobby to hobby but this one seems to have stuck. I can't afford a 1970 camaro so old bikes it is. Keeps me sane.
