    1935? Rollfast?

Awesome thanks Archie. I believe that the bars that came on the blue bike were original. I have seen a few of these snyder built bikes with these bars. They are cool but were not very comfortable on this particular bike so I used them on my 34 Colson. Thanks for the info. I had been...

Gramp’s 1941 New World - Trying to get it running as a rat rod bike

Roll that thing through the desert for another round of tires and enjoy every minute. You're blessed to have your grandpa's old bike. I'm sure he's thrilled. Keep on pushing!

My first major return from grave

I've been drooling over this 48 for a while now. https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/1948-rollfast.163909/. Looks like the fork on your bike is pretty bent. You'll likely notice it when you turn as your foot will bonk the front fender.

    Long spring seat

Not sure what parts you need... Maybe post in the wanted section with what you are looking for. I would put penetrating oil on every nut and bolt before taking it apart as to not break or strip anything. Good luck!

    Long spring seat

Check out this thread from the Tinker. https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/re-cover-a-saddle-quick-cheap.92195/page-3. It's a fun and helpful read. It's much easier with a dual pan saddle but In Post 45 @Miq covered a single pan long spring. Covering all or the majority of the bottom with leather...

    1935? Rollfast?

Not to hijack this thread but I didn't know serial number dating was possible for rollfast bikes. I used a parts bike and got the red frame separately. Any thoughts as to what year this red frame is? Thanks.

    Model T of antique bikes?

This was a darn good answer. I wasn't really looking for English bikes but I didn't specify country of origin. There were a ton of these Raleigh bikes made - i can tell cause they are all over Craigslist.... Wouldn't be surprised to find one locally at a reasonable price. It's kind of good that...
