I think singer fluted the rear forks and front , also had a bearing set like is shown,, premiere is the model built like that , I found a 48 in Mansfield Ohio, the back bone or perch was also fluted

You are probably writing about the Wiedman tire tool , I also invented a way to install the tires ,my way is totally different .
