How do you let people know you collect ?

One of my favourite stories was in the papers a few years back. At a funeral in some south American country... big event, lots of mourners, the deceased suddenly sat up in front of the congregation and shouted "I'M ALIVE!!!". Wonderful. Except for her mother who had a dodgy heart and died of a...

So what's your bike fetish, specifically?

Patina... shmatina... First, my fetish is decals. Love em... I love seeing authentic 60 year old decals on a bike that have survived for so long :) On the other hand, patina? All that does is screams "RESTORATION" loudly in my ear. Yep, it's signs of a bikes past life, which is why it's...

    1905 Royal Sunbeam

I've had so many questions and offers for this bike that I've decided to cash out... In terms of an English bicycle, it's the very rarest of the rare... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330738792345 If anyone from the Cabe would like to make an offer or ask questions...

    The purist cringe.

I don't actually have anything to say in response to the above quote, but I thought that it caused such a stir the first time around that I'd rekindle it again

    What's this one guys??

Well from what I've read it's a 30 inch frame, and that's big!!! It could be military, it could be anything, but look again and consider it's got standard 26 inch wheels and the height of it will become easier to see... You'd need to be a TALL soldier to ride it!

    What's this one guys??

How dare you accuse English people of needing to take vast quantities of alcohol with us wherever we go... I'm offended. What's the point in us carting around an entire minibar when you could fit an entire crate of whisky in there? ;-)

    What's this one guys??

Oh... I've given myself a headache. Right!!! Now tell me this doesn't look seriously similar... Ebay bike... 1933 BSA Trichrome Special. It's got a different trigger and light... but that's a seriously close match...
