If HD can’t even reach out to the bicycle collector community to make a faithful copy of the best example of the HD bicycle, that tells you how blind they are when it comes to their motorcycle business plan!
Crescent and ABC were finished building Crescent bicycles by the end of 1900. They may have printed catalogs for 1901, but I doubt any were built in 1901. The Swedes were building them for the European market.
American Bicycle Co. was in control of Crescent Bicycle for 1900, then shuttered the following year. The last year of production was 1900 and was a low production. The 1890’s depression killed lots of bicycle companies and other high-end bicycle makers went into motorcycles and automobiles.
