Model year of Mom’s childhood Rudge Whitworth

Well, the C clamp method wasn’t successful. Those pins are really seized. I don’t want to damage the shaft, bearings, or cranks, so resisted the uncontrollable urge to reach for a big hammer. I noticed on the crank tube that there is what appears to a ball type grease port. I am wondering...

Model year of Mom’s childhood Rudge Whitworth

Thank you @dnc1 and @juvela I really appreciate the help. I love the visuals. I have a C-Clamp that I can try. At one time I would have got the hammer out first and then tried to recover later. I must be getting a little smarter with age. I’ll post a few photos of the finished product...

Model year of Mom’s childhood Rudge Whitworth

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I should start a new thread for a question I have, but I’m going to throw it out anyway. I am trying to remove the cranks and the pin is either seized or threaded in. Does anyone have a disassembly procedure? I hope the photos I have included are useful. Thanks

    Wards Hawthorne Coaster Brake advice

Thanks for the disassembly and assembly information. It was very helpful. Having said that I have a bit of an issue that I’m hoping you can assist with. The hub was missing a lock nut from the drive side (see photos). The axle appears to be M10 (a little larger than 3/8”) and I thought it was...
