Straight pull spokes or viable substitute options

How about ProWheelbuilder.com? I found some SAPIM double butted in any length I could ever need. I was hoping to find cadmium plated so I could tarnish them some, but stainless is probably all I'll ever come up with.

Straight pull spokes or viable substitute options

Just looked them up and it seems their spokes are exclusively geared to 20" BMX. Looks like they max out around 200mm which is about 4 inches short. Am I missing something?

Straight pull spokes or viable substitute options

I could use a set of spokes to build up a Columbia model 59 wheelset (28 front; 36 rear). One of my current wheels is a mangled mess and both are missing spokes and they're too rusty to salvage. I'm planning to build up Stutzman hoops and make it ridable so a solid set would be desired but new...

More Memory Lane photos: Spring 2018

The fellow who bought it had it sitting out today for 225$ so I figured 150$ yesterday sounded about right.

    Memory Lane Dinner

Thought I could make it in time after work. Got on the road and traffic would have kept me from making it in any reasonable time. Sorry it's so late! See you guys tomorrow though.

    Help To Identify Blue Bike

Any chance that's an 84 EH with poor stamping or thick paint making it look otherwise? Snyder dating is the reverse of the last two digits I.E. 84 = 1948, which is what it looks to be.

    Pictures wanted: 1933 Colson tandem

Oh, you have mine.. not sure why that didn't click with me. I never found out any specifics from the serial, but these were made in this fashion from '33-36 or so. My plan was always to fashion my own front linkage. I got one decent picture showing what the threaded link ends should look like...

    Pictures wanted: 1933 Colson tandem

You bought Brian's bike? That is a really nice one. I looked at it in his shop years ago. What kind of parts do you need? It looks complete and fairly correct in the pictures.

    Saginaw powerbike value?

What a great album. Thank you! What's strange is that even the JC Higgins ad, with the boy and girl, they are clearly Huffman bikes. I wonder if they had some sort of arrangement. Especially considering there seems to be a heavy concentration of these kits on Huffmans.

    Saginaw powerbike value?

Alright here's some pictures. 47ish Huffman base bike w/ Zephyr badge (seems a Zephyr badged Huffman is very common with this kit). Pretty sure engine is correct 306704 which I believe is a Briggs NP. Missing controls is an issue. Kickstart is present, though not mounted. It was dark, so a...
