    Wanted - Vintage bicycle tires

I bought a Dayton Davis Roadster 1917-1922 and it came with Goodyear tires on it which I know are not the originals. Research shows me that the bike originally came with Vitalic DeLuxe white tires, Goodrich Safety Tread tires, or Kokomo Everlaster white tires. Do they even make these anymore...

how many Cabers have ridden 100 miles on a bike all at once?

I used to do century rides on lightweight bikes where I averaged 14-16 mph. My bum, heart, lungs, soul, and spirit can't sit more then about 6-7 hours a day on a bicycle seat....ouchy!! And, I only did it with my IPOD Shuffle playing good music in my ears keeping me motivated and entertained and...

    Sold c1921 READING STANDARD

VERY curious......where can I get a pair of original "bulldog" handle grips, or maybe even a set of the reproduction ones?? They would look good on, and originally came on my 1917-1922 Dayton Davis bike. Thanks!

If you really want something bad enough, and have the excessive funds sitting around collecting dust. You will pay whatever it takes (within reason) to get it. Been there, done that. I've also dumped more money into my wife then I should have lol hahaha. Just joking honey lol.

I would like some info on my high wheel bike, please

Thanks Walter! I love that tool that you invented. If that was you in the video I watched, you make putting the tires on look so easy. In what state are you located, anywhere near Ohio?? Closest I’ve found so far is Allen in Illinois near Chicago. Thanks also for all the great knowledge and...

I would like some info on my high wheel bike, please

Thanks to your advise I chipped away at the bad paint job and was able to find the serial number at the top. That number is: 10647. Does that tell me that this is a 1887?? With the many screw heads sticking out every 8 inches causing the bike to be so slippery on the asphalt, I only trust it on...
