    Sunday's Show and Tell... 10/25/20

Moved a Lot of iron at Kutztown yesterday. Hadn't planned on buying anything, but I guess that I'm preaching to the choir on that one. Found this 38 Colson frame that perfectly matches this chain guard that @dfa242 was kind enough to pick up for me awhile back. I know that I have a pair of...

    Stonework Saturday

Took a nice ride around the Kuntztown bike swap today. We were noticing a fair amount of road bicyclists passing by all morning, beautiful eastern Pennsylvania countryside here. This old building was right behind the venue.

    American bicycle Co Pope

Nice score Glenn, I think that you are really close w/ the date. American Bicycle Co. folded, I believe, in 1901 after Pope took over a bunch of other bicycle manufacturers to corner the market.

Odd but fun project. Looking for input

Lunacycle.com has a good variety of electric motors & E bike parts. One of their Cyclone motors may work for this project. Good luck & have fun w/ it.

    Skirt guards...?

1949 Rollfast three bar. Pretty rare frame that nobody else was interested in. Reminded me of a Skylark, I felt that the skirts belonged on it.

    Skirt guards...?

I put them on this one too Paul.

    Skirt guards...?

The Elgin skirt guards, I think are the most common. I've put them on a couple of Rollfasts. With a little finagling you can line them up & fit them on some different bikes. They do come up for sale now & then.

His and hers post pics here

Thanks & they get along together pretty nicely for an old couple. Not a lot of bitchin' & moaning from these two.

I've been using Fat Frank's & Continental's on grooved faux wood grained metal clads.
