Thanks folks; I carefully examined all, & the porkchop seems bent, putting a tremendous preload on the brake system; it may have been returned by a customer as a defective brake unit where they gave a customer an exchange way back in the day, & then threw the returned parts back into a box, &...

I have a complete NOS forebrake assembly on my '49 B6 but the shoes seem a bit too large for the drum & they "drag" fairly hard; I've only ridden the bike a few blocks & it's too hard to pedal. Could give you the lining thickness measurement but that could only lead to possibly more problems(?)
Thanks for such a 'helpful' & gracious comment!
I have learned in my 65 years that nothing worthwhile is EVER "easily done".

Here is an NOS pair of Torrington pedals, no markings on outer caps, but the inner caps say "Torrington", & "Made in USA". The blocks are 4 inches long, and the threaded ends are 1/2 inch diameter. These did not come to me with a package. Asking $150 shipped to CONUS. Paypal as friends. Thanks!
Danny, I know it's a tiny request, but I need the 2 very large head screws that hold the rack & fender braces to the frame. I'll pay whatever you feel is fair. I cannot find this type of screw anywhere; I need both of them. Thanks!
