Bummer, all 3 bikes sold before I was able to get there. I'm not sure what the 3rd women's bike was but I liked that men's bike.
Hey John, I certainly will. btw: Bikes n Beers is a great thread- nice pics of each.
Anyone able to offer an i.d. of this men's bike? The crank doesn't look original to me. It's part of a 3 bike offering I came across on CL. The other two are women's bikes of close vintage. Just wondering if it'd be worth it to get yet another project(s)
tjkajecj, really like the color on your 41! Looks great. Congrats realsteel, bikes are a cool piece of family history. My grandfather gave my father's bike to a scrap drive during the war after he ran away at 16 to the Navy. Dad wasn't happy to discover that when he returned in 47
Just barely missed for $70 on Craigslist. The owner found it in their attic and said it had to have been there for 35 years. This has the intact rear light and the chrome is barely blemished. Still hunting for my men's JC Spaceliner.
Beautiful bike...though I'm biased as I've the same bike! Had it for some 40 years and grew up with it too MotoPecan. I did change the location of the shifter but lost the originals sometime during college. I still have the foil sticker "M" head badge though I never liked it as much as I like...
