For Sale: NOS Raleigh Chopper 3+2 and 5-Speed Shifter Parts...

Last item, I have a used base portion of a Raleigh Chopper 5-Speed derailleur bike shifter. The base was most likely replaced on a bike because the slider insert in the base that moves the gear indicator is broken. I have a second slider that can be used to mend the two and fix the shifter. The...

    Sting-Ray help.

Yes, what Overhauler said, that was a Lime 1965 Sting-Ray. Great find there! That looks like a J-36 model, I think those were Deluxe Sting-Ray bikes but with blackwall tires. The sissy bar on that bike, even rusty like that is a great item, they always seem to be missing from the bikes. The only...

Picked up a lot of stingray parts today..

Wow great score! Congratulations! Looks like some of the seats are reproductions, and some of the parts on the bikes, the wheels, etc. But there is a lot of great original parts in there! Look at all those 2-Speed hubs!

    Sturmey-Archer

Oddly, I know on OLD bike shop owner that can rebuild them. You'd have to send it to Ohio though. If you are cool with that send me a PM.

Murray Eliminator Frame 5 Speed OR Not?

The part with the "52XX" tells you the type of bike it was. I think "52" was an F Series frame and "54" was a Mark II frame. Search Murray Serial Numbers in the Cabe and a list of the store numbers will pop up. I've referenced it on this site before.

I have an NOS box of Schwinn Coppertone Handlebar tape. Made by Hunt Wilde in the USA in the late 1960's early 1970's. The box includes 10 rolls of tape. The tape is really mint inside the box, the individual packages are super crisp. The box is still in nice shape and great for display. Perfect...

    Schwinn 20" speedo drive

The arms on those can be replaced. It is just held on by a snap ring. If you have an older bike shop near you, you might be able to score the arms and replace them.
