    1937 Dayton Model D4 Motobike

It’s really nice to see your progress. The rack is looking great and I can’t wait to see it sporty the dual Silver Rays (one of my dreams for a bike someday)! It’s also awesome that Mr. Monkeyarms was able to help out in salvaging the crank since it blends so well!

    1937 Dayton Model D4 Motobike

Congratulations on your very nice acquisition! I really like that style Dayton badge and how the condition of the paint surrounding it accents it so well. Hope you may post some more pics as you journey forward with it.

PreWar Balloon Tire Electric Conversion Kit?

Awesome looking conversion! Can you elaborate on what conversion kit you used and especially provide some detail about the front fork? Your conversion is an inspiring one.

What bike did you work on today?

Did some wrenching on my “mutt” today. I’ve thought about repainting her, but have hesitated because I like that her multicolored coat shows the love that others have given to her in the past:)

    Conversion project

Wow, I like the looks and color of that ride. Looking forward to your updates concerning the conversion and how it performs since it may inspire me to take on that kind of project. Best of luck!

    Schwinn BC

Wow, you really got some good results with the fork! I would have to keep going with it. It's kind of like "bicycle archaeology".

    Using citristrip to remove paint.

Thank you GTs58, I especially appreciate the contrasting photos since they are very helpful to the learning process; that’s the crazy thing about this hobby and many others, I guess. Sometimes, you got to pony-up to get the desired result or have the appropriate equipment..... I’m still...

    1935 Bluebird

Wow, that’s a tough question since your effort is coming full-circle. I like it with, and without, the chain guard:)! As a vintage WW2 Aviation enthusiast, it’s like asking do you want see that bird flying with the landing gear up or down! My vote is to fly your bird in both the low and high...
