    Reduced 28" rack with plenty of character

    Here is a cool early bike rack for 28" motobike style bikes of the teens-30's. It's pretty crusty but still solid. one of the top straps seems to be missing and the mounting bracket looks a little Mickey Moused. This rack could be homemade? Would go well on a bike of similar "patina". $50 plus...

    Not sure. I thought the bike they came off of was a womens Schwinn but now I'm not too sure. All I have left of the bike is the forks, stem, and crank assembly. I think the cranks are Schwinn?

    Well, that went surprisingly well... Started with a small pilot hole to get me started...then used a 5/16" bit which is just slightly bigger than the 9/32" stem bolt shaft...wasn't drilling too long before the head popped off...then squirted an ample amount of liquid wrench into the stem bolt...
