Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Excellent Early SteelCraft Zephyr
Premium version with inverted top windshield
Bumper extc. All metal is original untouched
Bumper , windshield and long gunner lights.
Original a solid Car
Still has Og Steelcraft tag on back of Metal Seat.
Everything is original untouched except lower rear body pan. 3” x 10” was cut out and tastefully restored . A new piece of metal was bent and creased and welded in place to follow exact body lines ( even lower underside lip )
Only what needed to be feathered with paint was done nothing more . ( I guess these cars have a lip on the bottom back of body pan . ( poor design ) that are know to harbor dirt and moisture and rust.
This car has 1-2” of rust along rear lower pan
Which was removed the right way.
The seat had 2 extra welds ( one on each side )
If I didn’t mention you may not even notice. See my Picts.
The updates were very tastefully done preserving 95.% of its original unmolested condition.
It’s displays very nice.
Solid and heavy.
Only missing horn ( common )
Works and steers great.
Great pedals.
