1970? Schwinn Apple Krate

In one of the photos the bike shows serial on the headtube. I don’t think the repop had the serial numbers there. But I may be wrong.

Can the OP show the serial or at least the first 2 letters? .

Wow good eyes missed that but I looked at my 1995 repop and the serial # is in same spot and the schwinn emblem says Chicago on it also

Repops have the serial number on the headtube and the Chicago "quality" seal as well. Repop serial numbers begin with three letters not two. Posting the serial number would be helpful. However, this looks legit. Looks like '70's rear hub, "Q" bolts, rear fender, chain guard etc. Doubt if anyone would swap out all those parts onto a repop.

That Apple has EF chain stays to BB shell. 70's Merican made Apple.
