Finally riding a big boys bike
1930 Model A Deluxe Rumbleseat Roadster. Cragar OH valve conversion on a 1933 B motor. Has hydraulic brakes, new whitewall tires, new top (not installed), later transmission, full canvas enclosure, new master cylinder, new Optima 6 volt battery. It still has the 6 volt positive ground electrical system.. Runs good. Has DMV clear set of 1930 license plates that will go with the car, but only if it sells in California. The only negative is the transmission pops out of second gear.
$22,000
The back story on the car, is in 1960 the owner had the car completely restored and at that time he converted it over to hydraulic brakes and installed the OH valve Cragar head. He then gave it to his daughter for her 16th birthday, it still has an oil change sticker from LA in 1967 on the door edge. She drove it through high school and through college and put it in storage in 1978. There it sat for 20 years until she sold it to the person I bought it from. He took it and had the motor freshened up new brakes etc. then he put it into a storage container until last year around spring time where he pulled it out and changed the fluids and got it running. I bought it from him and had a lot of work done to it to make it completely reliable. Over $9000 worth of work from a premier custom car shop here in Sacramento.
