Hi All, I am new to the vintage bike world after picking up the bike in the photo's. I am going to restore keeping the same patina and knocks and bruises. Can anybody tell me anything about the bike? good reference sources for the restoration? Cheers Craig

59-60 Huffy built Monark. Good luck with it.

1959-61 Huffman manufactured Monark.

This has a golden patina. You should start a build thread, and show the progress.

There are some Huffy catalogs in the gallery and the middleweight forum, those will help you see what it looked like new. The Monark Thunderbird was a re-badged version of the Huffy Eldorado or Galaxie.
