1936 CWC Speed King-before and after
This was a CL score and was just about toast when I got it. Was hoping for more paint but not much left. It was Black and Tan. Its kind of brown/chocolate (rust) now. She got the typical wd40/steel wool, clean and wax treatment and a new set of skins!

Pretty cool Don. It's an early one, most likely 1935 production. One piece non rivet braces, snub nose front fender and riveted badge.

Whats the serial # ?

Yep, just as I thought, four digit number like my early example.

Pretty cool. You don't see many 1935 production CWC bikes with these early details. In-fact, I think I can count the ones I've seen on one hand.

You did a wonderful job bringing that from the dead. Amazing how those early fender pins are hanging on.

Pretty sure the color on your bike was Maroon w/white frame darts.
