Not vintage, but brand new Axiom DX pannier rack just arrived a while ago. Weird USPS delivering eBay stuff on Sunday.

Test fit on the bike. Shouldn't have problem with heel kick.

Have a great Sunday

Been awhile since I posted to the weekly thread. This is the bike related stuff I found since January.

A 1936 American Flyer badged Snyder built girls bike rescued from outside an antique store. Had a rear stand and deco Torrington stem and other parts I saved as the frame was bent.

An older 5 1/2 Craftsman vice on a trailer hitch mount. Will replace the smaller one on my workbench.

An older Kennedy machinist tool box for misc. parts.

A 1895-1905 A. Dudley spoke wrench

A Westfield Columbus head badge

An early Seiss aluminum 4-cell battery tube

A nice (finally working) Delta light with rooster tail still attached.

A Delta chrome bezel and reflector for prewar front loader.

A Wald rear axle mount stand

A decent (cheap) Delta top loader

A real nice EA front loader is in the mail

And a complete 1936 Westfield bike arrived on Thursday. Will be cleaned up and riding soon. It’s a twin of a bike that I already own, the first prewar tank bike I bought back in 95. Always been a favorite rider of mine. Now I have two.

A new book arrived: “Being Gary Fisher” about his contribution to mountain bike history. A few bits arrived for the MOTOSACOCHE equipped Crescent: a crank bolt from Jesse McCauley, correct spark plug from Reg in England, and coil box that I may convert to a battery box if a more suitable example cannot be found.
For about a year now I have had a wanted post asking to trade a very nice OG chrome Shelby branded stem for a crusty one; the goal was to achieve a better patina match. Yesterday I was cleaning out my shed and found the perfect Shelby stem! Sometimes it pays to look close to home!
