Could you post a pic of the serial number?

Does anyone know if this bike would have originally had a tank and/or rack? Would it have been a 3- or 4-gill? I'm also wondering about the lack of white darts extending down the top and drop tubes from the head tube.

This could potentially be a nice companion to my ladies '49 Roadmaster.
