Seems like a great project. John Howard is on board so that's encouraging. Still don't understand why his story hasn't been given a proper telling. Ken Burns is the obvious choice for me. There have been movies made about Jack Johnson and Jackie Robinson but not Taylor ? I don't get it. His story is incredible and compelling.
I would think LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Reading Rainbow) would be a great casting pick for this, but he is 60 now so perhaps not the 20-something cyclist.
