I looked them up, and as usual, you're correct! They're made in England, which makes sense for the bike. There's a single pedal for sale on Ebay.

This was going to be a Donor bike for the '53. I even had the fork put on it...and then changed my mind. This bike will be kept original, and just another project to get busy on along with the others.
