Finally riding a big boys bike
I have a snyder-built bike from same time frame --aslo seatpost # only, checked bottom bracket thoroughly( enven used machinst's layout fluid and block sanded)--nothing!

There are a couple postwar Snyder built bikes, where they forgot to stamp the BB. Also, the red bike and Wet Dog's have og chain guards, the OP's is a Wald.
