Couldn’t stand looking at the scraped up pedal end caps anymore, even though I had polished the rust off. Although I had them nicely smoothed out, missing the Schwinn logo engraving was bothering me. They were like a big zit on an otherwise beautiful face. I Hadn't even noticed the rubber block ribbing was gone so that got fixed too.
Found a pair that looked as good as the $2-300 ones I see for sale, but for a lot less than that, so I figured I could justify the expense.

Now I can quit looking at the pedals and just appreciate the whole bike.

And with that, I am DONE.(I know, I know, I said that before)

My next bike has no such problems, I suspect everything is damn near perfect, no replacing the little details that add up later. $$$

I have now bought 3 bikes in 6 months! Why didn’t someone tell me how addictive this hobby is?

I went a different direction this time, still a very cool bike though.
Should be here tomorrow. I will post picks when it’s ready.

Enough about that ride.
