Can someone educate me on these? What's the going rate for one, desirability of one? Anything I need to look for to authenticate it? Are they common? I know they are Swedish military, not sure if that makes it less desirable in the States or not... Thanks!

Geez. Suspended right out of the gate. Now we'll never know what a Husky M42 looks like.

Husqvarna had a huge "old" stock military inventory of those bikes from the 40's and 50's along with these trailers and supposedly sold them all to the public.

That is a cool ride. With an awesome matching trailer to boot? C'mon. Too cool.
I'm guessing that as a single speed you'd have calves of iron hauling anything
over 50 pounds... up a hill... phew! Made myself tired thinking about it. I love
this bike!

Those pictures I posted were on a site that was about Husqvarna's history. Then this morning I found the actual owners posting, and it was here on the Cabe!!

Hill? hill? Have you ever been to Switzerland?* (-:

Yeah, I've no idea how they do it either.

Best Regards,

Adrian

*I drove through it this morning on the way to work, as I often do....

Oooops.

Thanks @DaGasMan (-:

For some reason I had it in my head that it was a Swiss army bicycle.

Just for info, I live in Annecy, France, about 40Km south of Geneva, Switzerland. Very much the Swiss/French Alps, with Mont Blanc about 100Km round the corner.
