I thought so...haha
But they do look like those connectors in that horrible pic! Maybe an idea for an "Electric" themed bike. Just glue a regular cap inside....
Finally made this 1902 Tribune Model 71 rideable for my wife today. Purchased it a couple years ago from Shawn @Freqman1. Was mostly there minus wheels and badge. Took it apart and cleaned everything. Purchased ready to ride set of Velocity Blunt P35 wheels with coaster brake from @KevinsBikes. @New Mexico Brant helped find Model 71 Tribune name badge (not installed yet). Replica saddle from Paul Watson. Panaracer Gravelking 700x38c tires and new Rexnord block chain. Still need badge screws, one handlebar grip, writing on tires blacked out, and install chainguard and rear fender.
Rexnord Industries makes 1" pitch block chain in several widths. They do not sell direct but the chain (by the foot) and links can purchased through Applied Industrial Technologies (they have 450 service centers in North America). 2018 prices were $18.60/foot for B-502 (3/16" width) block chain and $23.69/foot for B-503 (1/4” width) block chain. Links are around $4.00 each.
A new rack for the back of the Centurion. Its cold as Hades out in the garage so we snuck inside.
The rack is to haul my lunch to work. I’m going to start working at the new Trek corporate store thats opened in our area and they’ll actually give me a small bit of bonus pay each time I ride my bike to work... how cool is that!
Was pretty wet in SoCal this weekend, wife and I cosmetically restored / overhauled her cruiser. Finished today and spun around the neighborhood, 75yrs and going strong.

Picked up this '64 Schwinn American on FB Marketplace Sunday evening for $50! It's cleaning up nicely and I just ordered new tires and tunes for it. Looking forward to the first ride
