I bought a bike at Turlock like 25 years ago. I was walking it around and went into a building and some old fart grabbed it by the back wheel and pulled it while yelling at me, I was not looking that way and just instinctively pulled the bike back in the other direction and his hand got all jacked up between the tire and the fender.

what a maroon.

Gentlemen, no bikes are allowed to be ridden around inside the swap at all. I'm local and have been going to this swap for the past 20 years and no dice with riding bikes, even if you bought it there. Must be an insurance thing. You're better off bringing in an electric scooter of some sort if you happen to have a handicap placard. If not you'll be asked to walk the bike. Been there done that. See everyone tomorrow.
Yeah, that's the drill at most meets. It's sad, but makes sense. Especially at large venues with lots of people and expensive items. All it takes is a collision and the fun is over. Most of our meets are small and outside and sometimes I'll just sit on the seat of a bike and push along with my feet if it's allowed. In between areas if it's open, I'll pedal. People that are legitimately disabled can scooter about which is great!
