'Lil Knee Scuffer
This is an old frame I just acquired. I have searched and couldn’t find anything.

Decal is there on the head tube just cannot read it or recognize it.

Hoping by the paint scheme and limited decal that you can see somebody can identify this for me. Thank you in advance.

Drysdale Red Devil...1930s, built by Alvin Drysdale/Velox Bicycles in New York City. Fair amount of info online.....a nice find!

I don't think this is the "Red Devil" Model.

On the head badge is still remnants of the "L" and "X".

I believe this is the "VELOX" Model

See the comparison of head badges attached. Drysdale called the company Velox, and then had a model called Velox...(a bit confusing, like the New Wave band Talk Talk, which had a song called Talk Talk). The other tell is the round fork blades on the Red Devil, versus the D-shaped ones on the Velox.

...and as the bottom of the badge says: so good, they named it twice!
