Show your Bob U. Bike!

Here’s a bike that has some special designation in the hobby.

This is the very first bike that Bob Uszaszi ever restored.

The bike was purchased by Bob, from long time collector, Eddie Jew, as a semi basket case.
If I remember right, it was a frame, fork and tank.
So Bob sourced all of the other parts for it, and restored everything except the original paint tank.
This was the first bike I ever bought from Bob.
It has since been bought and sold many times over the years, but still retains its original bike appearance, thanks to Bob’s sympathetic restoration of it at the time.

These photos were not taken from the time that I owned the bike.
These were from a few of its subsequent owners.
By the looks of it, it’s still in very good hands.
Nice job guys!
Bob’s first restoration will be a coveted thing some day.😎

Stunning bikes! My congratulations to both Bob U. and the guys that appreciate and that have stepped up to collect his artwork.

Last week we kicked around the topic of what is a Museum Quality bike. The bikes in this thread are all museum quality, not overdone, or dripping with layers of excess paint and triple chrome. They are original, and all tastefully done.

I'm growing to like the "reverse done" factory colors more and more.

Great thread Marty.

Ok, I know, Bob is going to hate this thread.
But, a recent estate sale got me to thinking.
How many bikes Bob Uszaszi has restored for clients over the years?
Enough so, that there is now a body of work, that should stand the test of time.
So, let’s see your Bob U. Bike!
Here’s a few pictures of mine.

1939 Schwinn built, “The World”
Autocycle Deluxe.
Better yet let's add the price paid/cost for each resto. Would help put these "works of art" in perspective.
