48 Columbia Cruiser.
I love that place man show me that old town section with all the western shops. And pics of that Mexican restaurant on the south east section of old town that the ceiling opens up to the night sky. I’m living vicariously through you. Freezing my arse off in Buffalo New York. Respectfully Rick

Ciclos Minaco II today.
20 miles.
Gorgeous sunny Winter's day over here; a balmy 6°Celsius in the sunshine.
Stopped in the village of North Moreton to admire a group of around 15 Red Kites who were all down on the ground.
If you zoom in you'll see them to the top left of the field in this photo.....

...when I got a little closer I could see that one of them had a roadkill rabbit carcass and was waiting to fend the rest of them off.
As I got closer, they all took off, and one of them took the rabbit.....

...once again, zoom in to admire the Red Kites.
These are the largest birds around in my part of the world, and, after a successful breeding and reintroduction programme over the last 30 years are now very plentiful.

I pulled this Early 50’s Huffman badged “Belknap” out

A453BB1D-5630-4765-A20D-2E98CE12B834.jpegafter @coasterbrakejunkie1969 told me how nice his rode. One of first vintage bikes I bought few years ago before I really started actually riding em

85C52278-3DA9-4946-9DF5-68721C93133B.jpegit rode great as long as it lasted, climbing biggest hill on my route I got out of saddle to pedal and snapped the chain. I have a chain tool, so thought I had enough chain to fix until the tool stripped out? Called my buddy Walt who I had just saw on his bike and he lives right on trail. He told me his truck was loaded and couldn’t pick me up.Started walking 4 miles back to my van in pouring rain. About 10 min later I see a guy coming toward me on Motorcycle, knew had to be Walt. It was and my buddy ( an ex motorcycle road racer ) grabbed onto my stem riding along side me and pulled me back to my van. What was a pretty lousy day turned into having some exhilarating fun! Thanks Walt!

You know your bike is a classic, when it’s as old as the guy working at the bike shop.
I went in, and the kid working there, asked me what I was riding.
When I told him, that it was a 2005 Trek,
Rail CNC, he said,
Wow! That’s when I was born!

Wow! never seen one of those before.
The kids in my LBS are often amazed when I pop in, looking for a replacement spoke or two usually.
They always ask what bike it's for, they're frequently dumbfounded when I tell them how old the bikes are.
Today's ride being a case in point.
Another 30 miles clocked up on the 'Cycles Morot' this afternoon.....
